    Lennox bandsaw blades $11.00

Not sure it anyone has posted this before.....but this company sells Lennox blades in a variety of styles for $11.00 for common sizes. You are supposed to order 5 blades (which I did) but they sounded like they would fudge some.

Where do you see that deal (or is it just the sizes listed on the page ie 105 - 110" 3/16 - 3/4" are $11)?

That's it Jeffrey, you just ask them for the size you need.

Aren't these Pro Master I bands - the bottom of the Lennox BS Blade line ? My catalog's a bit old, but Iturra Design used to sell these for $12 / Band.

Not sure. I am working from the advice of a recent Michael Fortune article in FWW. He says that he uses these blades in 1/2 x 3T almost exclusively for both resawing and general work. They are cheap enough that you don't mind replacing them as they get dull. He buys them in Canada for under $10 each.

I just ordered a batch. If they are no good, I will certainly post some comments. If they are OK, that's a pretty good savings.

Errr - ok. M. Fortune was recommending BCsaw.com as his source, and I thought he was using Starrett bands. Man, I must be out of the loop !

                Hi Chris

They advertise their blades as "Lenox Starret", so I figured they were the same thing as Strarrett. I was assuming that they were the same manufacturer as Lennox, although that is also an assumption. The main thing I'm looking for is a sharp blade with a good weld. I will certainly will post if they aren't.
