I would like to know where you heard this. I was in there last week and they assured two customers they were not. Don't get me wrong, I've been floating that theory for a few months, but not posting it.
Edit : Found your source. I will check into it tomorrow. There will be few deals since they have practically nothing in stock right now anyway! No BS, TS, DC, Sanders, DP, etc. No Bridgewood or Yorkcraft items in stock.Last edited by Jeffrey Schronce; 05-29-2007, 09:51 PM. -
Interesting stuff. Anxiously watching this thread since this is the first I've heard of this and I've got a Yorkcraft jointer on backorder with them. Based on my research, they are a great shop with friendly (real) people and offer a good value - would be a shame if that approach didn't pay off for them.Comment

I think Grizzly is eating their lunch though. You know how bears are with the picnic baskets! People seem really turned off by shipping cost of Wilke v. Grizzly. I like the folks there. They have done right by me as recent as last week. Stand up folks.
I emailed my contact at Wilke. He will advise the correct information tomorrow and I will post same.Comment

I have always heard that they make a good product but getting it is not always easy or cheap.I think I would have bought a Yorkcraft jointer but shipping killed the deal. With Steel City ,Craftsman and a couple others making some good stuff, I suspect a dollar is hard to come by for a one man show like Wilke.I think Grizzly is eating their lunch though. Confirmed that they are no longer selling machinery. Sad. Also sad is the lack of inventory which means no real blow out deals. My guess is that they will unload 90% of this stuff on ebay.Comment
