    Makita 12v drill. $66

    http://www.amazon.com/Makita-6270DWP...4?ie=UTF8&s=hi

I was looking at a drill for the home and shop. I saw this on the movers and shakers on amazon. I have three 12v dewalts and 10 batteries for the drill that I use for work. But all the batteries are dead and I have to rebuild them. For $66, kinda hard to beat.

    Mike.

This is a much better build DW on the recon amazon page, 12v for $79, and free holster
That makita has plastic gears, not at all built like my Mforce 12v. The DW is all metal, chuck too. It is just heavy for a 12v.

The original link is now going to Uncle Joe's does anyone know how to get Amazon as the seller? This happens occasionally, sometimes you can find Amazon on the right-side "other sellers" listing but not this time; I am bewildered by when and how it occurs.

I've got the 6213D about 7 years ago and although I did have to replace both batteries it's still doing great. I prefer the 12 volt due to it's light weight over it's bigger brothers. For heavy duty jobs I use my corded DeWalt like for pocket screws. If this model is even close to mine I'd say it's a good deal especially with a flashlight which I personally use all the time. Actually it's about the only light I use anymore. It's always ready to go and plenty powerful enough.

            Got them today

I got both my drills today at like 8:00 AM. They are great drills. A little lighter than my Dewalts, but for $66.00, quite the steal.
