Not trying to be argumentative, but I am not sure this includes rails. JBD, you say your rails are 72". Did you buy this positioner from Amazon and did it have the same ASIN? The rails are typically sold seperately from the positioner/fence. Just want to make sure everyone knows what is involved/included up front.
Edit: BTW look at the saw in the photo on the Amazon site. Looks like older blue Jet. Check out the modified dust chute. They take a hacksaw to the machine to add 6" duct work then goose it down to 4"!!!!! What the heck?
I just can not see giving up that much space for a 30" rip capacity, which is too small IMO, 40" would be a minimum for me. My Commercial Beis. has an excellent cursor and is close enough, 1/32" repeatability, for WW. I have a 50" rip cap with rails that long. This is not machinist work. Wood itself it not even that accurate a material. The Al fence will wear over time for one thing and negate that accuracy anyway.
It is a good price fr the system, but it is the older model.

The other version of this is the Incra LS32-TS TSIII 32-Inch LS Based Table Saw Fence Positioner.
In both LS and Sawtooth; the item descriptions are worded the same.
Listed under 'Technical Details' (LS) rails are included...
Technical Details
Lead screw based Automatic Positioning Control for the Table Saw
36" heavy duty Rip Fence stays PERFECTLY parallel at ALL settings. Heavy duty rail system for three point fence clamping
I bought a couple months ago when Amazon had the items listed seperately. The whole package cost me a little under $200.
I do think the rails are included in the LS package but, I did buy mine seperately.

Space is not a concern for me.
Its easy to move the positioner to get a 43" rip distance.
Also, I bought an extra set of rails for $30. 50" rip or more; no problem.
I also have a Biese, and a Unifence; Incra is my favorite.
"Table saw fence positioner (sawtooth rack based); for most all standard 10-inch table saws"
Sounds like it is a universal fit..
Well, "most all standard" != Bt3. I managed to find Incra's web page for the unit, and it looks like the problem is that the BT3's table is too small. Apprently one can order a special custom part, but dunno how much that is...
Plus it doesn't matter, Amazon raised the price back up to $340.
Heh, too many linkis to click! Yea, I quoted the lead screw. I've emailed Incra to ask if this can be used on the BT3, so if it ever comes back in stock at this price we'll know if it's supported or not.
