CL-Indy:8' Sections of Bolwing Alley $25

    http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/for/335958720.html

I'm going to try to grab a couple this weekend. One for a bench top, maybe one for a bar top.

Watch out for nails, cleats, staples etc. Could be a pain. Don't try to plane it down unless you are totally confident that there is no metal in them

Find out what they are made of!! There are synthetic bowling alley lanes. The older ones used Hard Maple for the first 20' (don't quote me on that length), then pine, or beech, or other wood for the remainder. Some also used Hard Maple where the pins sit.

Let me know, I might be interested in a several.

The nails holding them together can be driven in further if need be.

I remember reading a warning about this a couple of years ago, again someone on CL selling bowling alley sections. If anything, I'll just be drilling bench dog holes for the bench top. As far as the bar top is concerned,
          8'x42" is perfect!

To slide a shot glass down into the bottles breaking them?
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.
