    Woodcraft $10 coupon & $10 giftcard

Coupon for $10 off $100 purchase at store.
Fill in a survey (see below) and get $10 giftcard. If you want something worth $100 there looks like you can score effectively 20% off. Survey is about 10 pages of stuff. Took me a while b/c I wanted to give truthful answers and I don't know their site that well.

NOTE: coupon expires tomorrow! Survey must be done by Friday 8pm EST.

    Dear Woodworker,

Thank you again for your advice in our previous survey. In that survey, we asked for your future help as a member of our Customer Advocacy Panel, and we are pleased that you agreed!

As a member of this Customer Advocacy Panel, we'd like to get your opinion of Woodcraft.com. Your responses will help us identify the types of products and services that we should be offering our customers online. As we've promised before, the survey will not take very long! Please click >>> here <<< to take the survey. The survey will close on Friday, May 18, at 8:00pm EST.

As our way of saying thank you, you will receive a $10 email gift card. Again, thank you for your continued support and feedback!

They must have waited until survey was over to start issuing gift cards. I received mine via email today as well.

Hopefully everyone let them know that Amazon eats their lunch on pricing, particularly when it comes to shipping. Charging $150 shipping just to get an item to a store is stupid (example $999 Rikon BS). That cost them a sale in my case as I went with the 19" Grizzly instead.

that's exactly what i let them know. woodcraft's pricing is way out of line. i will pay it at the local woodcraft store when i need something soon or for convenience, but anything that can wait i'm buying elsewhere. it doesn't make sense to spend an extra 50$ on kreg jig just to buy it from woodcraft.

i raved about the free shipping on my survey. i swooned over it. it was quite pathetic, but i hope to get my point across ---compete, or don't

I agree. Woodcraft prices suck. Atleast rockler sends me 15-20% coupon and gift cards all the time. Woodcraft is not great for deals. Plus the last time I went to the store, they did not match their own internet prices. Now, I did the survey and I still did not get my gift card. I am not giving any more business to them. I like rockler way better. But Amazon is my preferred one still. Can't beat the prices.

A few months ago, I was in the local Woodcraft eyeing the Powermatic bandsaw that was on $100 rebate. The clerk and I got to talking, and I asked him if that was the "out-the-door" price (plus tax, of course). He said "yes", and so I bought it before he could think about it. I'm not sure if he was new, but even their website mentions shipping charges.

Maybe I just got lucky. They did not have the free toy truck in stock, but called me when it came in. Friendly folks, but I'll admit to only buying specialty stuff, or wood, or something on sale like their $5 clearance on router bits. Usually it is just so much easier/cheaper to use Amazon.
