I need to get a biscuit joiner and was thinking about going for one of those ebay cheapies, but then came upon this deal on Amazon. I can use the sander too, so with free shipping, it looks like a really good deal.

it definately is a very good deal i think.

the pc 557 type 1 was sued by dewalt because they had copied them on some plate design, so pc came out with type 2 which then had a problem in it and now type 3 the problem has been apparently fixed.

so what i am trying to say is that this buiscuit jointer is really a good quality plate joiner.

Great deal at that price; I recently purchased the same package when the price dropped to $165 about a month ago.

Note that the package does not include a case for either tool.
