You heard wrong! Best instructions ever!

Worst experience I have had in WWing involved the HF DT jig. Pulled a lot of hair out over that one. Got the PC4212 and was banging them out in no time at all!

There is also a supplemental manual available on the web. I don't have the link but I have the pdf if you want to get it that way.

I bought the combo unit end of february. The router does not have a plasic case or a seperate package. The 4212 has its own carboard wrapped package (no plastic case). And that package + router (without box) comes in the combo unit cardboard pack.

They forgot the 1/4"collet in the combo unit. So, watch for that. If you email them, they will send u the plastic case and the collet. They have a good customer service.

That's good to know. A good manual/instructions is very important to us novices. I think I read about the bad instructions on epinions or something.

Oh and I ordered it last night and got my email around noon today.

On the right hand side there's an option to choose a different vendor. Amazon has the $203 price under it. See the very bad looking pic. Not at home so I had to use mspaint.

Here's the response we got at 12:30PM today!! We ordered last night at about 11:30 PM.

Looks like I have to wait a few weeks for shipping! What a stellar deal, though -- worth the wait! I just hope it arrives in time to submit the bar code for the $30 MIR.

I'm sorry your order total was calculated incorrectly. Upon
investigating your order, I found that it did qualify for the
                    promotional discounts you mentioned.

We will be glad to issue a refund of these additional charges.
Unfortunately, because you are not charged until an order ships, we
cannot issue a refund just yet.

We ask that you contact us again after the entire order has been
shipped and request a refund. we will surely refund you 20% which
makes up an amount of $41.00 to your credit card.

When you have received our e-mail confirming that your order has
shipped, please reopen this message and click the link at the
bottom. You will be directed to a web page where you can paste a
copy of the cost summary from your original order confirmation
e-mail. We will make sure to request the appropriate refund to your
credit card for the excess amount you were erroneously charged.

I hope this solution is satisfactory. Once again, I apologize for
                    this inconvenience.

Thank you for your patience in this matter, and thanks again for
                    shopping at Amazon.com.

Looks like price jumped to $273 unless I am reading it wrong.
