I was just in Richmond yesterday-drove past Lowe's and mentioned to the wife that we should stop in, but didn't! Probably just as well I didn't see this as it would have been a tight fit in the SUV. We were down there looking at houses as we are wanting to relocate to the Richmond area. Any thoughts on wood and woodworking supply stores in the area that would be helpful?

Sorry you missed it, Greg. It is a decent place to get wood as you will find plenty of sawmills within an hours drive but not a lot of places for supplies. Lexington has Manny's WW place but I am not a fan. We have the usual suspects;Home Depot,Lowe's,Harbor Freight and a very good Ace Hardware but for WW specific things, I end up on the web. Amazon has a distribution center in Lexington which can make for some pretty fast shipping. Let me know if you need any specifics. I will be glad to help.

Thanks for the info. I'll be asking for more specifics if this move comes through. We found a house we like, a new build, and we are waiting for the builder's response for some modifications before we make an offer. We really like the area and do hope to get there soon!
