    possible SCMS deal

I saw this on Amazon. It has everything you need but it is GMC. It might be just fine if you have some deck builing in your future. The price is defintely right.http://www.amazon.com/GMC-ADB10CMS-1...739308&sr=1-34

Yeah, Definitely not a good deal for a 10" saw @ 150$. No way, esp GMC. There are much better deals on name brand stuff.

Did you provide an incorrect link? That saw isn't a slider.

This doesn't have a laser but you can buy an aftermarket one if you really want one.

here you go. All better brand names than GMC. I think pretty much everyone would agree to that. Some better priced than spending 150$ on GMC and some just a tad more.

I think he was refering to a sliding saw - $137 would be a good deal for that, especially if you are doing simple work, even if it was GMC.

Oh. That's correct. He did mention SCMS. Slider would be a awesome deal for that price. I have a GMC biscuit joiner which I got for 25$ from lowes and it is a great tool.

I was at lowes the other day and they have a 10 SCMS for 199 taskforce brand I think. No idea how good it is though

That Taskforce saw looks identical to this one from Sears:
                        http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...seBVCookie=Yes

I got that one for $168 after C. Club discount and rebate. I'm pleased with it, but I'm not an expert.
