    Sears tool sale

I have the 10" drill press, and I'm happy with it. It's a buy at $89.00 if you don't need something larger. Nice for a small shop. http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/home....vertical=SEARS

    Hi Ed,

I couldn't find from Sears' website how much travel the chuck has. How deep a hole can you drill with your drill press?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Been busy today. The chuck will only travel 2 inches. But you can drill deeper if you do it in steps. I've done that a time or two.

One thing I like about it is that you can swivel the head to take advantage of floor space if you have a long piece of stock.

Love Sears' "lowest price of season" tags, to them a "season" must go by about every 48 hours or so...

              The seat swivels 360 degrees.

I just recieved a new Craftsman Club brochure and the stool is on sale to club members for $50.00 April 22 - 28.
