For those who might use the S&D PVC pipe for your dust collection ducting, the Lowes near me had the 6x6x4 WYE fittings for $3.97 each (normally $15.97). These would be good if you are running a 6" main with 4" branches.

Were they styrene or PVC? If they're styrene I'd think twice about using one as it doesn't take much to break styrene fittings._________________________

Unfortuanately, I struck out at the 2 Lowes I went to after work today. The closest one doesn't carry it at all, the other one that I have bought a couple at had 2 of them, though I think they are ones I returned before because they are warped. But still had the 15.86 price on them...even did a price check but still came up to that price. I almost bought a 6X6X6 wye. It was rough looking on the outside/dirty, but I didn't need one. It was marked $0.91!!! I tried to find a 6X4 adaptor, but they only had the gasketed ones for 28 bucks. I'll keep trying! Jim.Comment
