    Incra MITER1000SE $99.95 shipped!

Looks like Amazon has the Incra MITER1000SE for only $99.95 with free shipping. Found this on the Woodnet site.

The final price does not show up until you check out.

I would cancel the V27 in a heart beat if you can. Both are great miter gauges but the 1000SE at that price is a much better deal.

This will go nicely with the Ridgid TS3650 I just bought on sale. Thanks!
I've been looking at both these items for months, but $700 plus tax was a bit high for me. So getting them both for under $600 really helps.

You're going to love the 3650/1000se combo. An Incra MitreExpress really completes the suite.

Forgive the niavity, but what is the differences between this and the v27?

Where I am coming from, I have a BT, with two dual miter slots (planning on making a sled for some picture frames), and picked up a couple of v27's. One for the router table (when need odd angles, otherwise use a sled) and one to be modified for a GCSS (guided circular saw system). If the big difference is the fence, I have a hunk of 80/20 that can handle that. Am I missing something or is this just a better fit for old arn?
            Thanks

Amazon says on the Incra page: "Save 20% each on Selected Construction Tool Accessories offered by Amazon.com when you purchase 1 or more. Here's how..."

Here's how says: "Add any eligible product described in the promotional offer message to your Shopping Cart..."

Is there a link to the list of eligible products?

              Thanks.

Thanks Ken, I went back and looked at the specs of the v27. It's description is the same as the 1000, so that is Amazon's screwup, that might just save me return charges. My order has shipped, so I will see once I get it, if it will be fine for my uses. For now, the smt works great, and I've seen plans for an adjustible sled, I've also got my gcss and a bevel gauge I've used in matching angles. So I really need to think if the 180 degree's or the 60 degree's is better for me.

How would this compare to the Kreg Miter System? Pros/Cons of each.
It's all good till it's no good any more.

The Kreg, is more expensive then the sale, has fewer angle presets and from everything I have read, made of more aluminum (main guide bar).

Went back and reread the Incra 1000, and it has miter detents/presets every 5 degree's (41 verses kreg's 10 stops total) and a steel bar for the channel.

I came home and found my Incra v27's had been delievered. Very happy and I don't think I need the 1000, as any degree more then that, would be more of a taper cut, that I have a excellent way to do allready.

Now I need to go start cutting up the bar one one of them (cringes since it is a new tool).

ok, pulled the trigger for one. don't think it can be beat for the price.

Now up to $128. Typical Amazon reaction.

I had ordered a V27 when it was on sale for $39. I placed an order yesterday for the 1000SE at $99.95 thinking I could cancel the 1000SE order if I decided to keep the V27.

My V27 arrived today and I will be returning it on Monday. For me the extra angle detents, fence, and the engraved scale are worth the extra money.

Sorry to see that Amazon raised the price..
