Thanks thallikar, the link you provided worked. Free shipping, PTA20OFF worked as well. Gotta love this forum. Thanks again.

At $39 shipped, this is definitely the lowest for the V27.

But as discussed here, Hartville is selling it with a 24" fence for a net $70 shipped. Which means the 'free' fence effectively costs $30.

So would anybody say that fence from Hartville is worth $30? Or could I make a similar one with MDF / 3/4" ply and rout a t-slot in it? Even a stop like that on the fence should be do-able in the shop?

For $30, I am planning on MDF and getting some T Track, as I have some other jigs to make.

Currently, I might use a section of the 80/20 extrusion I bought off of ebay, for a router fence, before getting a deal on a table, due to someone building one into their saw.

Yea - to me this miter guage is a great deal at $39 ( I just ordered it myself ) but adding in a store bought fence the price starts to creap up on some of the nicer guages (like the 1000SE) - I'll be happy to add my own out of whatever I have around the shop and save the $$. (Currently I just have a piece of wood on my stock miter guage).

Just a heads up. It looks like the delivery date on this is the first week in May. I hope nobody was in a hurry.

A bit of a sidenote. The Hartville 24" fence is on sale for $24 right now. It does include a tape and a built in stop but shipping is extra.

FWIW, Woodnet members get a 15% discount at Hartville which may do the shipping. A search on WN will explain.

I've ordered a few things lately from Amazon and have gotten much sooner than the expected delivery date. I got my planer tables today and it was estimated to be delivered next month. I think they just put the date far away to cover their a$$. Hopefully this is the case again.

That is true, but I seem to recall they don't let you use that on sale items or any power tool. It still might be worth a shot. It depends how bad they want to move them.

The 15% off is on non sale items. Very nice Co. to deal with.
