Delta ts350 TS $99.75 at Baltimore Lowes

Yep, I had to start a new thread for it:

The previously posted $299 deal prompted me to check my local Lowes at my last visit and they had the shelf marked with a yellow clearance sticker from $369 down to $99.75. The Timmonium, MD store was sold out, but the Abingdon store had 1 in the box, and 1 floor model, marked the same.

The guy who helped me load the box on the cart asked where I heard about the deal. He worked the department and didn't know about it. Checked out, and sure enough, it came up 99.75.

If anyone needs a receipt I'll try and get mine scanned, but I have a feeling if they have them at your store, it is marked down.

They also had the dust collection package marked down at both locations, as mentioned in other posts. Since I'll be running 6" it didn't help me.

    Regrds,

      Receipt - pdf

I attached the receiptin a pdf. Blocked out the signature, but everyting else is there. It is the first item on the receipt.

It has the saw, stand, miter, T-square fence, a blade. The picture on the box matches this one: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...activeda404-20

        Wow -- great deal!

Alas, none here in the Raleigh-Durham area. Their inventory at the Durham location indicates that one is in stock, but the can't find it anywhere in the store...

found one within an hours drive, and it was clearenced to $296. the manager told me they don't price match non-stock items (clearanced items). he said the manager of the store where the receipt originated could've reduced the price, and i retorted that there were other stores with this price. he denied me, so i bought it anyway, and i am going to try and get the price adjusted at a more friendly location.

why can't lowes and hd's sale and clearance prices be standardized for crying-out-loud? and why can't they unequivicolly abide by their price policy?

btw, you guys that have searched for one, have you by any chance asked what the price was?

Is this a better saw than the BT3100? Looks like the cutting depth isn't as deep. If it is, I might jump on it, if not, I'm quite happy with my BT3100.

                      Thanks.

It's a fantastic deal -- I'd pick one up if I could even as a gift. I think the cutting depth is due to the motor type (induction).

So, are you finding if a particular store has one by calling around or going online? I'm having trouble getting a tool dept person on the phone. Abingdon is about 90 miles away with a gazillion lowe's stores in between so...

Call any Lowes store in the area (or go in if you can't get someone helpful on the phone). Ask them to go to the computer and look up item number 33719 -- it should come up as the Delta TS350, and it should show as a "nonstock" item. Ask them to do a region search (I think that's what it's called.) and the computer will show them a chart with the quantity in stock at each of the stores in that region. If they look confused after you ask for a region search, then just ask, "can you tell me what other area stores have this item number?"

Thanks, Alex. Unfortunately "no one in the region seems to have one". I don't need another TS but for that price...
