    Delta TS350 TS $299 Lowes @zip 60188

The Lowes in Carol Stream, Illinois has a Delta TS350 in the box on clearance for $299 in front of the area where they display the table saws. I have not used one myself and do not need a table saw but it is pretty highly rated on Amazon for a budget table saw. Just thought someone local might be interested.

Had One for a Couple Years

I've had one of these saws for a couple years. (Yeah, I know it's no BT3000 or 3100 but I got a deal on it at the time.) It has worked great for me but then I don't work with it every day. My biggest complaint is the fact that the blade has no brake and takes about 20 seconds or so to spin down after turning the saw off and it is so quiet that I have to be careful. Also, it is a direct drive with an induction motor which means that the blade will not raise as high as a direct drive with a universal motor or an induction motor - belt system. Because of this, the maximum depth of cut is about 2 1/2 inches - far less than most saws but is sufficient for most of the work that I do. On the plus side, the saw is small and sturdy with the cast iron top. Basically, I've been pleased with it.
