resource for finding wood (good n cheap)

Thank the curly maple post below for reminding me of this little gem..,

i once needed 700bdft of good kiln dried s3s aromatic cedar... i found it for $1.85 through www.woodplanet.com ..guy even drum sanded it all.

you put a "request for quote" and it goes out to tons of lumber yards all over the country..
great resource!
