Harbor Freight currently has their nitrile gloves on special. If you go to their website and bring up either 37050-6bdb(small), 37051-9bdb(large) or 37052-9bdb(X-large) they show a price of 5.99 per box of 100. Printout the page and take it to the local HF retail store and they will match the price.

No retail store near you? In that case you can go to their homepage but instead of entering the part number in the Search box click on the Order From Printed Catalog prompt. After the page has loaded, enter in any or all of the above part numbers and you can buy them from the website for $4.99 a box. I've never tried printing out that particular page to see if the retail store will match it but for those with a retail store nearby you might want to see if they will.

ya, i friggin hate the powder. i keep telling myself to buy powder-free online, then i run out and pop into walmart and the cycle continues.

How does the other version with nitrile outide/latex inside compare? Is it worth the extra money?

I prefer the two layer HF glove.
They seem more tear resistant and are more comfortable.
After trying them, that is all I buy.

I keep a box of nitriles on hand and they are good for painting and light finish. But I also keep those thicker green thingies that come 3 pair stapled together from HD for the heavy stuff. They cost more but can be re-used many times before having to go to another set.

No powder on the HF nitrile gloves. I often reuse them, if they seem to be in pretty good shape. When pulled off and turned inside out, sometimes I'm not sure wich was the original outside surface.

ALso, I'd recommend getting the XL size -- my hands are not huge, and XL fits snug. I'm not sure who would fit the small sizes.

I use these gloves for everything -- staining, applying Danish oil or varnishing, polishing my shoes, you name it. I even use them when I use spray paint, since sometimes a nozzle wil leak a little and get on your finger.
