Going to have to quit reading the bargain s

This forum is killing my budget with all the deals. But, how can you not love a deal? Only hope LOML doesn't beat me to the UPS on the porch!

I hear "but honey, look how much I saved" from LOML all the time.

Wish I had the chance to "Save" some money........

You are all correct, this is like an addiction. Does anyone know of a support group to help with this? Like a B.S.A. group - Bargain Shoppers Anonymous. Have to check into that. Thanks for all the great deals and the empty checkbook.

You just need to set you priorities. Once you've decided and accepted that tool-aholism is your lot in life, you are on the road to happiness. If your problem is that your spouse doesn't see the priority list the same as you, then, don't worry, that problem will eventually be self-correcting, too.

Is it a problem if you go to the ATM and take out $100 then go purchase a new tool 1/2 cash 1/2 credit so it doesn't look so bad when the LOML audits the credit card statement?

I think you may start thinking you might have a problem when you begin trying to convince your wife that you have a mistress you're keeping instead of letting her find out you are spending that much on woodworking.

Its always easier to justify to your spouse a new tool when you can say how much you "saved". Of course, once, she said: "yes, but do you NEED that Tool?"

But then again mine used to get very defensive when I asked if she needed that second pair of shoes just because the sale was "Buy 1 get 1 Half off.

I need to figure out how to filter out all the "Bosch 1617xxxxxx" alerts. I suppose I could just buy one....
