    Delta MS stand $49

I saw a Delta Miter Saw stand, I think the code was MS105WS, at Big Lots tonight for $49.

I don't know whether it's a good deal, or even if it's at more than just the local Big Lots, but thought it good to share.

This was in Salinas, California, the salad bowl of the world.

That's a really good deal, I just bought one from Amazon when it was one sale for $59, it's now back up to $99.

You can't compare this with the Ridgid that is on sale for $99 right now at HD.
      Get the Ridgid.

Huh? What do you think those big honking wheels on the Ridgid are for?

I have the Rigid and I have to say, it sure would be nice to have something smaller. It is moveable, but not portable. Getting my saw into and out of the basement is a delicate process. For $50 its a deal.

It really all depends on your saw. When you get a larger one (scms), or one of the higher dollar ones, I think the Ridgid stand would be a bit more durable. However for my cheapy GMC, I am going to check my local Big Lots tommorrow night. (coupon).
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

Those big honking wheels don't do much when you have to load and unload it from a truck a couple times a day, plus carry it in and out of houses, up 2 flights of stairs, or down in to a basement. Plus doesn't leave much room in the truck for the other tools.

I am a professional trim carpenter and you couldn't give me this stand to use every day.
