Stopped in the BORG earlier tonight and saw the DW735 marked at $499.00 which is normally $549.00 There was also a rebate form for $60.00 if purchased before May 2 (which is my birthday). I think I might have to ask my family to go together and get this for me.

This particular BORG was on Stringtown Road in Grove City, Ohio just south of Columbus.

Use that $60 to buy the optional infeed and outfeed tables. The 735 is a great planer with practically snipe free results when using those tables.

I got mine last fall for that price and at the time they were giving away a ROS as a mail in rebate. I also opened up a BORG credit card and got 10% off.

Or you could get the 735, wings and mobile base for just a little more, about $709 I think. In any case do get the wings which make this planer virtually snipe free. It's a great machine.

If you have a Lowes in the area, go to it and tell them that BORG has it for $499 (the last time I looked in Lowes it was $549). Lowes will match the price and give you an additional 10% off, making it $449 and you can still use the rebate.
