The x-y vise is on sale in the new regular store flyer. I think it is $29 but I don't have the add to verify.

I haven't gotten mine yet but checked it out on the Internet. Great timing I can use that 6" buffer.

I assume that the framing nailer is junk, right? Anybody comment?

Is the bar clamp/spreader set for $6 any good?

I think I'm going to have to get that x-y vise, that looks nice.

Other items on my list are the fish tape, peg board kit, digital calipers, ph tester, c clamp, pry bar, cable ties, drop cloth, teflon tape (never use 10 rolls though), and the 3 piece garden gnomes (kidding). And probably a bunch of other crap I don't need.

Do they run out of the sidewalk sale items usually? HF is a bit of a drive for me, but I'm going this time.

Its 28 degrees and clipped head only. The 6 in one is a far better gun IMHO. That XY vise is decent for the $ and can be used on a drill press, etc

Another item on sale now is a real good multimeter. Its item # 37772 for
$19.99 This thing has features you would expect to find on a fluke, like freq, capacitance,Temp probe etc. My fluke died two years ago and this is money well spent.

I was able to use the 30% off for the x-y vise. Wish I was able to better utilize the coupon, but it made the vise $21, so I'm happy w/ that at least. Looks like I got there just in time, cause some guy bought every one of them that they had (I think 9). Lol, it wasn't even part of the sidewalk sale. No idea what he's going to do with all of them.

Picked up a whole bunch of other crap I don't need of course. A lot of the stuff was already OOS by the time I left...

I wonder if those will show up on ebay at about twice the HF price.

Oh, and thanks for buying out HF before I get a chance to get there. GT alum should be looking out for each other.
