    Craftsman 22104

On Clearance for $529. 22114 for $679. I think the only difference is the extension size and material.

I think $529 is around the regular retail price for the 22104...I seem to recall seeing clearance prices in the sub $400 range....I think they're playing Amazon games! At $530, I'd be seriously considering getting a deal on the 22114, which go on sale < $550 now and then.
Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

They were 20% off the $529 over the weekend, plus the 10% rebate, but as noted, a $215 delivery charge as there's none in-store around here.

        I'm hoping they'll slash the 22114.

          great value

I picked up the 22104 and the main difference between it and the next step up is that the more expensive saw has a dust chute built in and it has cast iron table extensions. 22104 has steel extension tables (heavy and stiff) and you can buy the dust chute for about 35.00. I purhased 22104 and love it. I simply made a bottom for my cabinet out of mdf and bought a 1.99, 4 inch hose attachment. The saw is heavy, smooth and well made. It is acutally made by Orion, a group who left Delta. It is a true cabinet style saw, as the trunions are cabinet mounted, not the table like most hybrids. I picked up mine from a Sears Hardware, bought it with a discount because it was on sale and only paid 350.00. The same basic saw (same trunions) is on the Steel City saw- made in the same plant and by people who also left Delta. When you call the number on the sears manual, you actually get Orion. I had them send me a wrech kit that was not with the display saw that I purchased and the invoice (it was free) had the Steel City logo. This saw is a real steal that most people dont know about- most similiar saws are running 800.00-900.00. For nine hundred you get a biesmeyer or similiar fence, but the fence on the 22104 is heavy, stable and down the road a person could replace it, if they couldnt live without the fancy b. The hybrid by Delta at 800.00, and the virtually identical Steel City saws are nice pieces of machinery, but I couldn't afford one of those and I now basically have the same saw for half the price-I would suggest anyone who can get one to buy one. Even at 500.oo it is worth it. They did go down to 425.00 over the holidays but Sears but them back up to 529.00 after the holidays and have held them there. I think they know that people will pay this price for such a good saw. The saw is very heavy and certainly not as mobil as the bt series saws that we have grown to love. I will keep my 3100 to transport and more the convience of its light weight and versatility. They are not apples to apples, but the 22104 is the buy of the year.

A Sears store that sells Hardware only.

The also have Sears Hardware/Appliance that sells . . . well you know.

Also Sears Appliance that sells . . .

Sears Essentials is a scaled down Sears in a former KMart building. They are being phased out I believe.

Don't forget "Sears Grand." A KMart in Sears clothing.

But then they all are these days, aren't they...
