Too bad it doesn't stack with the BT3 site discount...

15% off Brian's normally low prices are a great deal. Got the same email and picked up a couple of bits I've been thinking about for a while.

Does this discount apply to all shoppers or only those on a special list. Didn't see anything on the website unless I just missed it.

It applies to all shoppers, you just need to use the coupon code (moving15).

I just took the plunge on a high-end saw blade for my BT3Craftsman... bought the Ridge TS2000 TK blade. It came highly recommended on this site... hope it works out as expected. Can't wait to make the first cut...

I have heard that it is the best looking blade you can get. I have also heard owners say the cut is second to none. I hope you like it.

That would be my choice as well with the current market. I think the new WWII will be an equal blade, though it will likely command a premium to the TS2000. I like a raker tooth on my combo as I often use it for dados when I am too lazy to install dado stack.

Wished the 15% applied to Byrd Shelix cutterheads. Brian, please say it doesn't!

I ahve the WWII in my cart at amazon, $72. The TS2000 is $76.50.

Is the TS2000 a better blade?

Is there a new WWII coming out that will be as good (again, suggesting the current model is inferior)?

My intent is to buy the Freud LU87R010 10-Inch x 24-Tooth, 5/8-Inch Arbor Perma-SHIELD Coated Thin Kerf Saw Blade and the WWII for ripping and everythingelse, respectively.

Hmmm. The "old" WWII is by far the most popular high end blade in the industry. There is a new WWII which is a ATB-R blade, which means it has a raker tooth every 5th tip, thus making a flatter bottom if you are using the blade to make dados. My guess is that the new WWII maybe a little more and less likely to initially be discounted (except of course for Amazon who will discount anything).
Either blade is going to be awesome and I don't think you can go wrong either way. If you plan on using your blade for cutting multipass dados that require flat bottoms (ie they are exposed on the end or need excellent contact for glue up) then the TS2000 would probably get the vote. However, Forrest WWII is considered the primo high end blade for a reason. Again, you can't go wrong with either.

It says it is good until midnight 2/11

We are moving our business to a new retail facility and rather than move the inventory, we would rather sell what we can. Now until midnight Sunday 2/11/2007 you can take 15% off any purchase except for the Holbren 24 piece promo router bit set.

Enter coupon code "moving15" in the coupon code box at checkout to take advantage of the offer.

All that and we're going to ship it for free too!

Sorry guys, had the wrong date in there. Thought it worked as good through the date I put in not good until. It was fixed this morning and if anyone missed out because of my error, let me know and I'll set you up.
