Where do you see "My Buying Option". Only place I see to put the coupon is after I add to cart and go through check out process.

"My Buying Option" allows you to choose which vendor you are buying from. You need to choose Amazon as the vendor. The code should then apply.

I just ordered the 12" blade and it came out to just over $17!

For some reason there was an extra $5 discount.

I saw the Lowes Hitachi blades and they seem like something HFT would sell in their quality.
I would use them not as a primary finish blade, but I never have actually cut with them.
Lowes has never carried the 12" Hitachi blade. The 10" and 7.75" Hitachi blades are made in France and not china.

The 12" blade that came with my Hitachi saw was also made in France.

It's a nice blade, especially for the money

            Cheeky, thanks for the correction.
The Lowes blades do look different. I went ahead an bought 10" 72th TCG(0* hook) and 72 th ATB blades, for my DeWalt RAS and jobsite saws because they are TK. I prefer FK on the Unisaw.
I could not find manuf. origin on Hitachi's or amazon web site. Hope they are the blades like you have.

I couldn't resist either, especially since I dulled the blade on my 12" makita cutting laminate flooring. Doubt if I could get it sharpened for $21.

Still waiting for the 12" chopmaster to come down...

It is current $87.99 using 20% off code. I don't think it usually gets down in the $70's like the WWII does.

BTW, it is a bad idea to use a chop/plunge cut as the teeth dull fast due to the AlOx coating, which acts like a stone on the top edges as they "scrape" in entering the surface as opposed to the tip piercing the surface. TCG teeth will last the longest. CS,TS,Jig saw or CSMS.
I learned this from Freud ( blade 96 th 12" on a DW706)and even some flooring manuf. actually says that now.
Pro installers use CSMS and jogsite TS. There are no precision cuts anyway so I use a cheap blade and toss it if dull.

Thanks alot Jeffery! It was a little tricky but I was able to get 1 12" and 1 10" blade for a total of 42 bucks plus tax.
