Skil 10.8V Lithium Ion Drill/Drive $39 at HD

I just stopped by a local Home Depot to pick up some tubing. Went wondering through the tool area as any good bargain hunter does. I found a Skil 10.8v lithium Ion drill/driver for $39 down from $79. I needed to replace a dead cordless drill and this seems to fit the bill. Don't know much about the drill, so I'm going to do a bit of research. For doing cabinet work and driving screws the small size and light weight seem to be good. I'm not sure of the 1/4" quick change chuck. If needed, I'll break out the corded drills.

    Here's Home Depot's link: http://www.homedepot.com/prel80/HDUS...p?pn=100487671

If a register receipt is needed let me know. Home Depot shows it selling on line for $79, so maybe this was just a local thing.

Was looking at the Bosch but got one of these for the wife for $47 just before xmas. Power is impressive, the light is a plus, the size is great for tight places, and it weighs almost nothing. It is geared very low to get all the torque so if you are driving a bunch of screws you'll prolly wanna grab your fast drill/driver. The electronic clutch is just OK. Its great for the kitchen drawer or back pocket and fills a niche in my drill collection. For $39 I wouldn't hesitate.
