Porter Cable 19.2v $89 Lowes Clearance

My local Lowes, Santee, CA has a half a dozen Porter Cable 19.2V drills with 2 batteries, charger & case on clearance for $89.00 You can't even get the batteries for that price....

Every Lowes around me has them for $99. Amazon wants almost twice that amount.

My local Lowes in Chandler AZ has these Porter Cable 19.2v, on sale for $99. So I went to check them out and being a hands on kinda guy I had the tool guy open one up. He snipped the tie and opended it up. I looked it over and was talking to the guy about it and noticed scuff marks on the charger, like it was used. I pointed that out to the fella and he said you saw me open up this new package up. Well I looked real close at the charger cord and there was saw dust all over it. I said “where is this dust DNA from”. He looked shocked. I said I’ll think about it and went on my way. Maybe that explains the price.

That particlar one must have been a return. They could have put the black tie wrap on themselves or an unscupulous customer did it. In any case, I bought two of them. One for my son for his b-day and one for me. Both were brand new and not a speck of dust anywhere.

Santee has four now at $75.00. Looks like the price came down. They also marked a PC rounter down from $109 to $89. They have several of them.

I just picked up 2 for $65 each. Never hurts to ask.

Don't have access to scanner or I would. Once I just printed off the posts from this forum, took it to Lowe's to see if they would price match and they did, no questions asked.
