    Reconditioned Rigid Tools

Just a heads up that at the Atlanta Woodworking show this weekend Rigid had its own booth and theya had several recondiutined items discounted. All items had a one year warranty instead of the lifetime warranty. Some of the prices were:

    Table saw $350
    Jointer $229
    Planer $239
    Bandsaw $249
    OSS Sander $119

Has anyone else seen these as well?

Argh, I had myself convinced I didn't need to goto the show. Well now that's shot. I need that OSS and I haven't seen it under 199.

They must have sold more of the OSS in the last 2 months, than total since they came out. I have seen probably 50 people post that they have just bought one on different boards. 49 besides me.

It was the 3650. They only had limited supplies like 4 of the OSS @ $119.

                That's a good deal on the 3650. Glad I wasn't anywhere around.

At the Detroit show, the Rigid rep gave me a card that was worth 10% my purchase at the Borg down the street. He only offered it after I asked if there were any recon. routers and he didn't have any.

They had the same thing at the WW show here in Arlington in Dec.

One scheduled for April in Houston, may go see what is there and visit the kids at the same time.

Just a heads up for ya'll: According to The Woodworking Show people, Ridgid is not going be at the KC show.

I noticed they were not on the floorplan, even though they are on the vender list, so I called to check. Bummer. I was going to be at the door at 1200 tomorrow.

That blows. They were listed as a vendor when I posted a couple of days ago.
