Does anyone know another vendor for this planer? I checked Frozenwarrior and it looks like it is at the lower end of the Amazon price range, but I feel that some of their "highest" prices are just MSRP.

I don't know if you're aware, but if not here's a quick way to search prices (obviously not most comprehensive, but it's good). Go to google and type in the manufacturer and model (ie Makita 2012NB), and then click on "more" above the search field in google (you will see: Web Images Video News Maps more). Then select "Froogle" from the drop down menu.
