can somebody clarify : is this woodrack made of wood, or metal?

has anybody mounted it on a brick wall instead of drywall studs?

it's made of powder coated steel tubing.

and from the pictures, it looks like it has been anchored to cement.

            I have one

Mounted on something solid as per the instructions, you can swing on the racks
            Downunder ... 1" = 25.4mm

I wonder if it would be possible to cut the rack in half and have it spaced every 16" to provide more support for longer boards.

I have one and its been great. I guess you could cut it, but it seems like it has an odd number of bars. May get another one.

Thanks for posting this!! This is a great price for this rack.. I have one and it is so simple to install can't beat the value compared to buying the materials and making your own specially when shop time is so valuable nowadays.

Just ordered two. One for the shop and one for outside on the shed. Hope all the parts make it. It seems the packaging leaves something to be desired.
