    Casters at Woodcraft on sale

    W00t!

    Heavy Duty Casters
    Reg. $10.99 to $19.99, SALE $7.69 to $13.99

A lot of people like these a lot and they always test out good.
I own a set of these on the big table, and while I like the locking mech, I much prefer the 3" and 4" units from Grizzly for their tires (but Grizz mech is weak). These ones I can get to skid in the sawdust too easily.

        sure, here:

        and here:

They are made by Woodstock, apparently. Which means you might be able to get them at Andersons, for example.

If someone could find one that has the wheel of these and the locking of Woodcraft's, I'd be in hog heaven...

rsjimenez: I couldn't find any doubly-locking casters at SES. I'm looking for ones in which the wheel won't roll, but the caster won't rotate either. Are there some there that I'm not seeing?

Look at the ones they call total lock.

              weight rating

While load capacity is only one factor in buying the proper caster, I'd mention the Woodcraft versions are rated at 300# which is better than any of the others mentioned so far in this thread. Not important to some but essential if you need it. A similar 3" total locking "stem mount" caster with this weight rating isn't easy to find elsewhere and usually costs more than Woodcraft's normal price.
