HF 10 gauge 6-in-1 air framing nailer $89.99

Harbor Freight has the following nailer for $89.99 on their website:
    http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=93910
    Reg $199.99 (yeah right).

Has anyone used this particular nailer? Is it any good?
I have their 18 Gauge nailer and it's reasonably good for the average DIYer.

Just used it over the weekend to frame out a closet.
    It performed VERY well.
Its heavy, but thats to be expected.
I've had it for a few months and its performed well.
I did use the 20% off coupon
Its worth it even without it

We to have used it ALLOT

We bought it right after Hurricane Charlie to fix up some homes and have used it hard ever since
It works good. As was pointed out it is heavy (so what)

For the money it is a good deal

Normally I'm a big fan of HF nailers. I picked this one up a little over a year ago and used it for the first time last weekend. I used the wrong angle nails for the setting I had the magazine at and jammed it. After unjamming it and setting it to the correct angle for the nails, I've found that it wants to shoot doubles - two nails at once.

I'm probably going to try taking it back this weekend. If that doesn't work I'll try and find a service kit for it. I guess the best advice would be to be careful to check the nails and set the magazine angle correctly.

            Hey Vanguard,

I had the same problem at first, but got it sorted out ofter reading the manual

THe problem is probably that you forgot to change the other two settings that need to be changed when switching from the 21 degree nails, which it is set for originally, to either 28 or 34 degree nails.

            Just food for thought.

You're right. I didn't change any other settings. I'll check the manual this evening.

I for one have put thousands of nails through the 6 in 1 without any problems i've used all different nails and angles and even found that it fires the paslode 30 degree nails no problem. I would highly recommend the HF especially for the money.

Looks like they raised the price to $99.99. There was a 15% off coupon in the last flyer but it expired on 1/2/07.
