Wilke Shipping Resolved - Sale Prices on Machinery

Just received a flyer today in the mail from Wilke. Seems that they have finally listened to all the complaining about shipping rates, particularly those of you on the West coast. They have introducted flat shipping rates.
Checking against Grizzly, the new shipping rates look pretty good.

    12" Jointer
    Grizzly - $1595.00 & $229.95 Shipping
    Wilke - $1499.00 & $220.00 Shipping

    6" Jointer
    Grizzly - $325.00 & $69.25 Shipping
    Wilke - $319.00 & $65.00 Shipping

    15" Planer
    Grizzly - $775.00 & $139.25 Shipping
    Wilke - $699.00 & $130.00 Shipping

Looks like they have pretty much priced a few bucks less than Grizzly on the items I checked.

Web site says flat rate is only valid for east of the Mississippi.

If you don't measure, you don't know.

For crying out loud! I didn't see that in the mailed flyer they sent out.

Thanks for thinking of us, though, Jeffrey! It's the thought that counts.

For us in the West coast, especially near Seattle, it makes more sense to deal with Grizzly and SunHill-Oliver which are short driving distance.
