This is a very strange time to end that promotion. I would think they would leave it active, until at least Wednesday, to capitalize on last minute shopping for the holidays.

They are advertising the "year-end blowout sale" as you mentioned they would, but their prices haven't changed on most items (some tools on "blowout" have actually inflated).

This is one dynamic that perplexes me about Amazon. They think their customers are uneducated and will fall for the superficial "blowout" banner they tag on the hardware and tool page, while leaving prices at or above market avg.

I have a love hate relationship with Amazon, as I have scored my best deals their, but also have waited through miserable dead periods like they currently are in.

Just finished an email to Amazon about my recent order. I ordered a jig saw and some accessories. They sent me the accessories but canceled my jig saw?? They said it was due to a credit card problem but they accepted 2 out of the 3 items I ordered?? Also, my wife made a few purchases also and they went through fine???

I've requested that they let me re-order and still get the $25 savings and the free shipping. I'm not holding my breath but I'm hopeful....
