That HDT 'special' especially sucked. I placed an order for the Makita bits, got error messages, ended up with 3 confirmations of orders, then 3 cancellations via e-mail. While I was screwing around, saw other things go "out of stock". Selling 1 item and a great discount maybe got people to the site, but for what sort of experience? I'll stick w/ people I have success with. (Yeah Holbren!)

Sorry that you had a bad experience with HDT but I am sure that if you send a note to Mark he might be able to work something out on the Makita bits. I am not in any way affiliated with HDT, I am just simply a very satisfied customer and have not had a bad experience with any of my transactions with them.

Mark, is really very good to deal with although I have only managed to buy 1 item , 0 on the BF sale. He , b/c of the woodnet frenzy has way too much on his plate I think. I will keep trying to buy something before they sell out. The posts are on EST so here on the left coast you have to get up early.

There were 75 bit kits available Holbren will do you right as well .

The special far from "sucked" , as there were many hundreds of people that got in on the deals.

I have never been able to successfully make an order from HDT, but I sure don't think they suck. I missed out on all the goodies this time too, but I'll try again next time.
