I already have a carving set, otherwise I would have jumped.

    52.50 in us dollars

Switch currency to US dollars and the price comes up as $52.50. I am tempted to jump on this. I wonder if they are made in Chiwan since it does not say on the ad.

    Thanks for the heads-up!

I do not know where they are made but I used LeeValley many times and they always sell quality products. Have not had any junk from them yet.

I bought the Lee Valley set and it just arrived. This is a very nice set of chisels for the $. Nicely finished, surprizingly thick steel, comfortable handles, all in hinged wooden storage box.

The Lee Valley set looks identical to the set Grizzly has for $29.95 in a carboard box.

I am thinking of buying the Grizzly set and grind them into other useful shapes. The price is hard to beat - less than $3.00 a chisel
