I will have to check that out, no Woodcraft in LA county.
UPDATE
I want the pattern bit shown on the web page and the ad but the price is not $5? I can look it up under the # but shows $19.99?
Also is the drill press lazer any good?Last edited by Andrew Benedetto; 11-26-2006, 05:47 PM.AndrewComment

I'm guessing these Woodcraft bits are pretty decent, since they normally sell for 2X or more the sale price. Does anyone have any experience with carbide router bits from Harbor Freight? I saw a set of 25 bits (1/4" shank) on sale for $49.99, normally $69.99.
I have quite a few 1/2" bits, and would like a set of 1/4" for another router I have. They are painted and look decent enough, but I am usually very suspicious of anything from HF. I do buy their nitrile gloves, and I've bought a number of their aluminum bar clamps, and other mundane items. So far I've steared clear of tools/blades/bits.
Thanks!LeeComment

DON'T do HarborFreight bits! For the money, buy from Holbren. He was closing out some 1/4" sets for $45 because the box was damaged. The quality is 3 times better. Cheap bits make any tool cheap. Better bits will get the max out of any router or saw.I'm guessing these Woodcraft bits are pretty decent, since they normally sell for 2X or more the sale price.
