I paid $65 for it a few months ago and thought that was great. $56.75 is unreal.

Sent you an email, might want to edit your link, it links directly to your account.

Edit: I logged off your account for you (don't worry, I didn't mess around with it), but if you leave it logged on, the above link will go directly to your account so I'd still change it.

Thanks! I have been using a really bad 20 year old B&D and have been putting off buying a new one because I couldn't decide between right or left cut. That price makes the decision.

            Correct, no brake.

What are the tradeoffs for blade right vs blade left??

              TIA.

they say that the blade on the rt side of the motor is better for right handed people, and vice versa. That being said, I am so used to using a standard saw with the blade on the left, when I pick up one of the ones with it on the right, I tend to just use my left hand with it.

Ordered mine on Sat and got it today. Aside from a few minor scratches on the case and the handle, looks and seems to operate as new.

                  Thanks again,
                  Michael

Received mine yesterday. No scratchs. Works like a charm. Notched out some slots on a secondary workbench today to place Besseys. Saw worked very well. The lack of brake is a bit odd as I would have thought that would be standard by now, particularly on an above entry level saw. The tool less blade change is cool, but I hope it doesn't have a problem in the future. The bar that you turn to change the blade seems a little small and not very sturdy. One feature I really like on my new DeWalt router is the fact that they have a single wrench bit change OR you can use two wrenchs. I wish this saw had the same option.

I agree on the blade brake, but for $56 shipped I can't complain. As for the toolless changing, how tight do you need to make it? You're right, that sliding lever isn't the stoutest piece, but I'm thinking it's reverse threaded so it shouldn't come undone if it's snugged up well. Right?

                        Got mine today

Mine arrived today - looks brand new. Cut some old 2 X 4s up and it is smooth, steady and a great deal.
