New Harbor Freight Store in Paramus, NJ

I just got a flyer that says a new Harbor freight store will be opening in Saddle Brook, NJ on Oct 24. I believe this is the first HF store in Northern NJ. My original post incorrectly listed Paramus as the location.

Question - Do Harbor Freight Stores honor sale prices posted at HarborFreight.com?

No, they don't. Only what's in the flyer posted at harborfreightusa.com. Of course, I could be wrong. They wouldn't do it here... but others seem to have had some luck elsewhere.

They've always honored web prices for me. YMMV.

        Isn't it in Saddle Brook?

I've been driving by for a couple weeks. The shelves are stocked and the lights are on, but the doors are locked. Until tomorrow.

There is also a Lowes under construction on Rt 20 in Paterson.
It will be interesting to see what happens. We are currently saturated with Home Depots here.

You are right, its in Saddle Brook on Market street and it opens tomorrow. I know because I work there. Its not in Paramus. Come one come all.

Mine honored a web price last visit--I pulled up the site on my Treo and showed the cashier and no questions asked.

This is near my parents (about 30 miles from me), so I'm looking forward to stopping in when I get the chance. As for saturation....nothing can be worse than near my town. Within 10 miles of my house are 5 Home Depots, 2 Lowes, 2 Sears and at least a dozen local HW stores. I know a spend a lot on home goods/tools, but I can't believe how much this area is supporting.

Absolutely, the will match the online harborfreightusa.com prices. Stray_shot, that is the first case of that nonsense that I have heard. I'd call Harbor Freight manager to clarify with their home office.

you have to bring in proof of the sale. they won't honor "buy one of X and get a Y free" type deals though. I argued with a store manager about that one.
I ended up ordering a $25 tool online and having it shipped literally 10 miles down the road on their dime (camarillo to oxnard). that makes great business sense.

My HF store has always honored online sales. I bring in a copy of the sale item and a manager has to "authorize" the sale at the register but never had a problem. Of course, it has to be the exact same item (SKU #).
