It looks to be on sale for $399 + shipping. Good or bad, that's not many $.

I don't know that tool, but I have the 7" jointer. It's not a great tool, but once set up it performs well. Maybe it's just me, but a jointer doesn't need a lot of adjustment - if it's square and flat, why change it?
Where the HF jointers fall down is in the fence and table adjustments. The fence is clunky and hard to set up. The tables are very finicky, but don't seem to move once done.
If you think you want the ability to frequently move the fence around (for use of the rabbeting function?) or change the depth of cut, these may not be the tools of choice for you. If you're just looking for flat and square they do well.

That Homier jointer keeps popping up in threads all the time. Funny things is, nobody seems to be talking about it after they buy it. Of course that's assuming somebody is actually buying them._________________________

I considered buying the Homier jointer, but the hassle of going to Lafayette, IN to get it, coupled with the uncertainty concerning quality, made me decide otherwise. It can be shipped, but dealing with the trucking company and paying the freight plus the residential charge and the liftgate charge made it seem more trouble than it was worth.
Picked up the used Jet 6" jointer with the Woodcraft mobile base and an extra set of knives which need sharpening for $200. It was only 30 minutes from my house.Comment
