Rebate on DeWalt Precision Trim Blade

I noticed the 10", 60-tooth DW3215 version of this blade today at Lowe's. DeWalt's offering a $10 mail-in rebate on the blade and if you use one of those special $10 off of $50 purchase cards that many of us received, then it's possible to get this blade for $20. (I never seem to walk out of Lowe's without spending $50!)

I know this is not the exact same DW3215 Woodworking blade that DeWalt offered in the past, but at $20, doesn't it seem worth a try?

Looks like a fine deal but you got me with the math. $50-$10-$10=$20??? Am I missing something?

Sorry....should have explained myself a little better. The retail price of the blade is $40. Well, how many of us go to Lowe's and buy only one item? I certainly don't (I'm buying a gallon of paint tomorrow). The rationale would be that you'd spend $40 on the blade and $10+ on anything else. The total purchase would pass the $50 mark and thus, you'd get the $10 off. In terms of the blade, it becomes $40 less the $10 coupon, the less $10 again when the rebate check arrives. Hence, the $20 final price.

You are right about the one thing purchase. Never happens. Thanks for the clarification.

Do you know if it's still made in the UK? If so, I'd definitely say it's worth a try for that price.

Well, I pulled the trigger and bought this blade today. It's made in USA, has almost identical design characteristics compared to the Woodworking DW3215, and makes a very smooth cut. Only time will tell how it holds up, but I'm glad I spent the $30 (eventually $20) on it.

Having the 10 of 50 card and needing a 10 inch finish blade, I got on of these.
I am curious about the PT in the model number. Obviously not the TK for thin kurf and the teeth are quite wide. Not in the little Dewalt catalog that I have.
Any one using this on a BT? or does it need more horsepower?

DW's numbering system would historically end in the suffix "TK" if it were thin kerf. I'd just assume that it's full kerf. You could always put a set of calipers on it.
