Source for Oak and Ash in MI

If you live in Michigan and are looking for red oak and ash, I found a great source. The company is called NEMROC located in Alpena. I was given a price of $1.30/bf for rough sawn kiln dried red oak in 6-7ft lengths. The 10ft length was $1.53/bf. The grade was select and better. I did not get prices for the ash. It is a good company that supports the community and provides jobs to those who have disabilities. I have no affiliation with them. I am in Alpena because of my job and came across them and was very impressed. I am going to load up my vehicle with as much oak as I can tomorrow.

Thanks for the information. I live just across the Mackinac Bridge in the da U.P., eh! I've been looking for a good place to buy lumber that wasn't a half days drive away. Did you happen to ask if they had any 8/4 lumber, or was it all 4/4?
