toggle clamps at Harbor Freight: $3.50

Saw the following toggle clamps on "clearance" for $3.50 at my local HF today. They are about 1/3 the price of similar units at Woodcraft. There were 7 on the shelf when I walked in, and 0 on the shelf when I left

    YMMV

    Quality

How's the quality compared to the brand names?

I just picked these up so I haven't had a chance to put them in service. A cursory inspection of them seems to indicate they are worth the money. The toggle mechanism is smooth and the plunge height is adjustable.

So did you use a 20% off coupon, or are you going to change your tagline??

Give us a report on how well they hold up in real use!

Not bad at the sale price plus coupon but they are definitely smaller and lighter duty than the mainline brands (rockler or woodcraft)

I dropped by the HF in town, and they were out of them. When they come back in stock I'm definitely picking up a few. They may be smaller than Rockler's, but they're also 1/3 the price!

              Still 5.99 at my HF

I went to pick these up today, but they were still at the higher price.

I wanted to print the page from the HF website to take with me, but I've just noticed that they no longer post prices. Am I missing something here?

The HFUSA site www.harborfreightusa.com , which supports the stores, does not post prices, except in weekly fliers, which they post on that site.

The regular HF site www.harborfreight.com , intended for online commerce, posts prices.
