    DeWalt DW716R 12" Compound Miter Saw $229.99 - $25 discount = $204.99

    Factory-Reconditioned DeWalt DW716R Heavy-Duty 15 Amp 12-Inch Dual Bevel Compound Miter Saw.

Saw this on amazon and thought I would pass it on. It's reconditioned but has a one year warranty. It looked like a good deal at $229.99 and qualifies for free shipping.
With the tool current promotion code "alltools" gives an extra $25 off would make it $204.00

If you look down half a page you may notice I already posted this and no one replyed to mine either. I found the deal through SD or FW can't remenber which, but after I posted I did a search there and found this deal to be old news. The saw has been at this price several times with different discount codes. I tried deleting my post but, I couldn't get it to delete for some reason.

I guess a reminder is OK though, since this forum doesn't save more than 2 pages of post at a time in the Bargain Alerts section.

Doesn't mean that no one is taking advantage of the price.
Now I have to place my 10" Milwaukee mitre saw on Craiglist.

Looked like a good deal to me too, so I jumped. As I needed a few other tools, I went for the $50 off $300, and please note the extra 10% off most hand tools and accessories under Daily Deals in the top banner (automatic deduct at checkout). Every little bit helps.

Your right, sorry for the repost. I missed MoldnMaker's original post. Too much temptation, I couldn't pass this up. Guess I got too excited finding a good price on a 12" saw.

Be aware this saw is not like my made in USA DW706. The quality and function is not the same and the laser attm. is a waste of time. It is made in Mexico. The DW718 is even worse, terrible slider for the $. I have had both and returned them. I would not buy either one. Read some user comments in the tool section @ amazon.
My Makita LS1013L is great, only wish it had taller fences.

              Andrew,
Is it not worth the $200 for an occasional use?

The quality is not there like before , arbor and arm play, casting quality(got a nasty cut from the base edges), laser is not a good option, blade was warped and very cheap. I would look for a 706 if you can find one. The recon may be actually better than new b/c they may have reparired the defects.
I bought one b/c of the extra xcut capacity but the saw was not what I was used to. I have a DW706 that I like. My saw also runs at 4000rpm not 3600rpm so it cuts faster in framing. The USA motor/gearbox also runs better.
here is a recon DW706 link

Go look at one at a store, DW716's are on display.
Did you see that on amazon that a DW706 costs more than the new saw. I think in the slider ,708 vs. 718 ;it is a huge difference but on the CMS it may be minor for you.
