    The 22124 is on sale for $800 on Sears.com, plus they're still honoring their 20% promotion for tools over $400. Go online and add it to your cart, and choose in store pickup to avoid shipping charges. Pretty sweet deal IMO.

      You know, I love this saw and I think Sears is nuts for discounting it this much. The only thing that keeps me from getting one is one specification:

      Weight: 438 pounds.

      That is over four times heavier than the BT3K. I'm already a candidate for back surgery.

          If you look online under "Special Offers", it states:

          Buy more and save more on your total tool purchase. Spend $199.99, save 10%. Spend $299.99, save 15%. Spend $399.99 or more, save 30%. Excludes shipping. Returns for products in special promotions must include all items in the offer. Offer good through 09/06/2006.
          That should bring it down to $560. Putting it in your cart only shows the 20% discount as advertised on page Dustmight copied though, so they have something out of sync. You could always try calling to see if they could apply the 30% rather than 20%.

          I think it is only the 22104 which is being discontinued. The two higher end zip code saws aren't on clearance.

              I think mine's only 425#.

                  Something was wrong. Yesterday, it was 30% of 399$. Today is 20% of 399 and above. Supposedly, 20% was the right amount and 30% was a mistake on Sears.com. Anywayz, I got my 22104 saw yesterday for the 30% price which made it 320$ includeing tax. Hope they honor it when I pick it up tommorrow evening.
