    Sears sale

Sears is having a Labor Day sale... doesn't seem like anything great, tho... I'm thinking, however, about this bench grinder as I see them on Craigslist all the time for around the same money $40... thoughts?

Also, if you find something worthwhile on sale, post it here.
    Never met a bargain I didn't like.

    David,

Depends on what you will be doing with it, personally I'd pass on a 6" grinder with 2 grey wheels. I have a delta 6" vs grinder and really regret not getting an 8" grinder for my lathe tools. Also for most woodworking tools you'd want a different wheel (aluminum oxide) from the standard old grey ones. (for example: http://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.a...72,43080&ap=1). The delta at least came with wheel more suitable for woodworking tools. but if you'll be sharpening gardening tools, that one from Sears may be perfect...
