FYI...
When Amazon started their latest 10% promotion they raised the price of several Freud blades by ~10% also. (very smooth, right?
) They recently lowered the price of the LU88 back to it's original $45 mark, making it a pretty sweet deal on what I consider to be an outstanding blade @ $40.50 shipped. Get your order to $199 and get another $25 off....so if you happen to be buying say a Hitachi M12V, and need something near $40 to get the discount, this just might be the ticket.
It's marketed as a 60T crosscut blade, but it's 15 degree hook angle allow it to perform many general purpose tasks including ripping to ~ 6/4". It's a tad cleaner cutting than my WWII, and the thin kerf makes it pretty forgiving to motors too.
