Tool Dock Stations at Ollies (Maryland)

Don't know how much of a bargain these are, but I was at Ollies Surplus Warehouse, Discount Warehouse or what ever they want to call it in Hagerstown yesterday.

They have the ToolDock stations there. Look pretty nice.

Standard station 36 inch tall, $99
Short Station 24 inch tall, $99
    Extention tables, $49
Router Table (Standard station with router top + 1 extention), $149

I juct couldn't pull the trigger myself, but some of you guys may want to check them out.

I just cheched the prices at Amazon and I think I'll have to go back up there this week and get the router station and a couple extensions. It looks like the usual price on these was $200+ per unit.

If anyone wants some of these, I wouldn't mind acting as the middleman. You send me the cash and I'll pick them up and drop them at UPS. I'm not sure how heavy the boxes are, but I just saw that one sold recently on ebay. These are the solid frame designs with the door.

Went back today with the intention of buying a couple stations. Looked at them, looked at them some more. All the while this is going through my mind.....

"you can buy 3 sheets of plywood for what each of these costs and make the cabinets to fit the shop the way you want them to"

I left without buying anything. Even at $110 for the station and top, I can't pull the trigger on these things. The had sold about half of what they had last weekend though.

I did notice a guy is selling them on ebay now and I bet I know where he got his from.

Next weekend I'll be going to buy some ply for my cabinets.

I saw them also in Allentown, PA.

The only thing that looked interesting to me was the router table. It was $199 but they didn't have any left. This interested me since it had some type of plastic/Lexan insert and a decent-looking fence. Still, even if they had one, I wouldn't have purchased it for $199.....
