    20% HF coupon

I found these floating around. They do not seem to be dated as all of the others have been. I guess a guy could stockpile. I have not used one so there could be some funny business involved.

When HF emails coupons the exp date is not part of the image of the coupon so if you "save" the email rather than print out immediately this is what happens.
Nevertheless the bar code will not scan at the register if it is expired so you are at the mercy of the managers good will. YMMV

Yeah, I took one in a few months ago the same way -- just the image like that not knowing the date -- and it was rejected at the register.

I haven't seen a 20% coupon in a while. I think we're due for either a 15% or 20% to come out now, which ever it's going to be.

I just received the HF flyer in the mail, on the last page (right next to the mailing label) is a 15% off coupon. Coupon good through August 28th.

EXACTLY! I've had this experience before... Since HF no longer puts out the 20% coups, I think you will find that fewer and fewer managers will accept the ones where the date was omitted.

              20% coupon, no date

I used one today to buy a 10" sliding compound miter saw. ($130 regular price, $100 sale price, $80 with the coupon) It wouldn't scan, but the manager honored it with no hesitation.

I recently received a flyer from HF that had a 20% coupon on the back page. The coupon even had my name on it.

I got one like that, too, but it was only 15%...

                    Common Misconception

It doesn't display a HUMAN readable date, but it does have a date, calculated into the BAR CODE. I've had to mess with figuring out if a bar code is 3 of 9, 2 of 5, postal, etc... and then copy them for stuff before.
