    Shopnotes & Woodsmith at Rockler

I was in the local Rockler (Amherst, NY) and they had all of thier back issues of Shopnotes and Woodsmith on sale for 50 cents each. I picked up 40 of them and was tempted buy them all and resell them. But figured I would not get greedy and leave the remainder for someone else. I don't know if this is at all of their stores, or just this one. But if you are looking for some back issues, it might be worth a call to your local store to see if they have any.

    Happy Hunting,

    Alan

I've never heard of Shopnotes (so please excuse my ignorance). What makes them so valuable?

      Guys,

I'm having a hard time with where this thread is going, I'm really going to need to ask that any more info on this subject be taken out of the forum and handled via private messages or private email.

I'm fully aware of the pdf's available, but for the forum to allow itself to make it public knowledge on how to obtain them is basically explaining (in full detail) to the general public how to steal from August Home Publishing.

I feel that August Home has put forth an excellent effort in providing our hobby/businesses with an outstanding source of information and that they deserve to be compensated for their time and resources.

      Thank You for your consideration,

      Respectfully,

      Thom

            Hey Mark,

Your question never got answered. Shopnotes is the name of a woodworking magazine. It's a good magazine, has alot of projects in them.
I think if you buy them new at a store they are 4 or 5 dollars, so 50 cents is a bargain, and since the information doesn't really go out of date, the old ones are as helpful as the new ones.

              Doug,

Thanks for the answer. Shopnotes sounds like a great resource. I'll stop Rocklers to take a look at them.
